We have new Policies as of 2025, so we encourage all clients, old and new, to give them a gander so you know what to expect!

  • Yes! We do take walk ins when we have availability!

  • Yes! We have a piercing artist in house! We don’t, however, pierce anyone under the age of 18.

  • Our goal is always for you to find the best artist that works with you and your needs.

    We always suggest that you start by looking through portfolios to find someone that way.

    Still unsure? Feel free to reach out by email or on social media and we can guide you to the artist that we think will suit you best!

  • We don’t mind you bringing a friend for support! We do ask that you limit the amount of guests you bring as we only allow one extra guest to be back in the tattoo area.

    Do not bring any children with you as we don’t allow anyone under the age of 18 in the back area.

  • Since each of the artists are independent contractors, this can vary. We do have an ATM in the studio.

  • We at Mad Creations always want to prioritize your health before a procedure that isn’t vital. There are a few factors to think about to be able to set you up for success through the healing process and here are some factors that will disqualify you from our services at that time.

    As a reputable Tattoo and Piercing Studio, we will not tattoo/pierce you if you:

    • Are under the age of 18

    • Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol

    • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

    • Have given birth within 9-12 months

    • Are healing from a recent medical event

    • Have an upcoming medical event within 8-12 weeks

    • Are on, or have recently been on any medications that may affect the healing of the tattoo, including but not limited to: Blood thinners, Antibiotics, Accutane, etc.

    • The area you are getting tattooed is damaged

  • Definitely shower. Don’t shave the area but feel free to trim it up (tattooing over razor burn is no good). Start hydrating/keep hydrated for a few days before, it makes more of a difference on skin than you think. Please eat before hand even if you aren’t hungry. Adrenaline does fun things to the body and food helps. Also get some rest!

  • Be comfortable and think about the area you’re getting tattooed. Loose clothing usually does the trick. Keep in mind how the artist is going to have to access the area to apply the tattoo. Also, you’re going to be sitting for a bit usually so be comfortable! The body temperature usually drops when getting tattooed as well so having something warm would also help.

  • We do not show designs ahead of time. There are many different facets that do into your design and we find it more beneficial for our clients if we go through the design with you at the beginning of your appointment and make any changes needed at that time.

    What if you don’t like it?

    Tattoos are permanent pieces of art and we always strive to help you get the tattoo you want. We also understand that not every artist is right for everyone. We highly encourage you to find an artist that matches your style by looking at their portfolio. Not every artist can do everything, just as every watercolor artist can’t spray paint graffiti. Finding the right artist is important for creating the right piece.

Policies

  • All Deposits are non-refundable and non transferrable to another party.

  • You are welcome to reschedule up to 2 days (48 Hours) before your appointment and have your deposit moved 1 time.

    To do this, you will need to message us and we will have you book a new date within the open availability with the same artist.

    Please note that you will need to book within the open availability to keep the deposit. If you are wanting to reschedule and there isn't availability that works for you in the open window, we will need to cancel the appointment and the deposit will not be transferable.

    If you need to reschedule and it is within 48 hours of your appointment, it will be considered a cancellation and you will need to book a new appointment (you forfeit your original deposit).

    Please note that consistent rescheduling can result in us not taking you as a client further.

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, you forfeit your deposit. If you cancel 2x within 24 hours of your appointments, you will no longer be accepted as a client.

  • We give a 15 min no contact grace period. After this grace period, you would be considered late. You are considered a no call no show after 30 min.

    We do not accept no call no show appointments as clients further.

    If you are in contact with us and are over 20 minutes late, a $50 late fee will be applied. After 30 min we will consider this a last minute cancellation and you will forfeit your deposit.

    We are human and understand life happens, but the big thing we need is communication. We respect your time by spending hours preparing for your appointment and ask you to do the same.

  • We have a 1 complementary free touch up with our work with the original artist within the first 6 months. Anything after that will be decided on a case by case basis and may be charged a set up fee of $50-100 depending on the artist/piece.

    If you cancel a complementary touch up within 36 hours of your appointment, a set up fee of $50 will be charged at your next touch up appointment. If you cancel your touch up appointment 2 times or no call no show the appointment, this service is no longer free and you will need to book a regular appointment for this.

  • Not all artists allow for numbing cream. Please consult your tattoo artist specifically for this information.

    If your artist doesn’t allow for numbing cream and you show up to the appointment with it applied, you will be considered a last minute cancellation and you forfeit your deposit.
